Buff Wand is an all-in-one nail perfecting tool. It is an eco-friendly and multi-functional alternative to a regular nail file, as it can be used to file your nails, push your cuticles, buff and smooth nail ridges, and polish the surface of your nails to a glassy shine.

Glass is a much more eco-friendly product than plastic or metal, which is what most regular nail files are made out of.

Regular nail files musts be disposed of after 3 months as they cannot be effectively cleaned and re-used, and they take years to break down in landfill.

Buff Wand can be washed and sterilised and re-used countless times.

One single Buff Wand also replaces the need for multiple nail tools and is therefore more sustainable (it replaces your regular nail file, cuticle-pusher, nail buffer and clear polish).

Regular nail files rough up the edges of your nails as they file, leaving them weak, brittle and open to infection and fungus-causing bacteria. Buff Wand uses nano-glass technology to seal the edges of your nails as it files, which leaves them stronger and prevents bacteria from getting into your nails.

Buff Wand reduces your exposure to harmful chemicals, as it does not require any polishes, top-coats or other products to achieve a smooth, glassy shine on the surface of your natural nails.

Step 1: File and shape - Use the flat side of the wand to file the edges of your nails to desired shape and length. The curved edge of the wand can be used to push back your cuticles.

Step 2: Buff and polish - Use the same flat side of the want to gently buff the surface of your nails with a light hand (some very fine nail dust will appear, which you can wipe away). This will smooth out ridges and polish the surface to a glassy shine!

3. Wash with warm soapy water and store in its protective case.

Your nails will remain shiny for up to 3 weeks on average. This will of course depend on the individual and your lifestyle, such as how well you take care of your hands and nails.

No. Regular nail buffers can take off around 15-20% of the nail surface, whereas the special texture of Buff Wand only removes 5% of the nail surface while also polishing it, without damaging your nails or surrounding skin. 

After using your Buff Wand, always wash it carefully with soap and water to remove all nail debris and allow to dry. Any nail debris left on the wand may harden there and reduce it's effectiveness and ability to smoothly file and polish your nails. If needed, you can disinfect and/or sterilise your Buff Wand.

Always store your Buff Wand back in its protective case when not in use.

Buff Wand can last years with good care. This will also depend on factors such as how frequently it is used, how aggressively it is used, how hard or soft your natural nails are, how well you clean it, and how well you take care of it.

We use all recyclable and/or biodegradable products for packaging and shipping. Buff Wand comes in a paper pouch which can be recycled, and we ship using only biodegradable/compostable bubble mailers and cardboard boxes. Our packaging tape is even biodegradable.
